We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive organisation, for the position of Group HR Advisor based in Coventry, West Midlands.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.

Duties
- Provide generalist HR support to the dealer network, including advice on performance, conduct, absence, and grievance issues
- Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, ensuring compliance with correct procedures
- Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointment confirmations
- Oversee short and long-term sickness absence management
- Assist in implementing performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development
- Collaborate with the Recruitment team to ensure timely vacancy hiring
- Advise on and promote best HR practices across the organisation
- Ensure all HR activities comply with employment legislation and company policies
Requirements for the Group HR Advisor positon
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR advisory role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
- Professional approach focused on supporting line managers and developing teams
- Automotive sector experience is desirable but not essential
