Job Description:

  • Setting, operating and programming CMM equipment across a range of high-performance engineering products, using PC-DMIS software and/or Zeiss Calypso software to create and run inspection programmes.
  • Carrying out general inspection duties using hand measuring equipment (vernier, shadowgraph, micrometres).
  • Verifying supplier ISIR documentation including dimensional, material and process compliance checks.
  • Supporting Supplier Quality Assurance teams with supplier-related quality concerns and non-conforming products.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working within an inspection department environment.
  • Experience programming and operating CMM equipment.
  • Knowledge of PC-DMIS and/or Zeiss Calypso.
  • Experience using hand measuring equipment including verniers, micrometres and shadowgraphs.
