Our client based in Coventry are recruiting for a Buyer to join on a 3-6 month contract.

You'll play a key role in supplier management, purchasing administration, and ensuring supplier compliance.

Job Description

  • Liaise with suppliers and act as the main point of contact between suppliers and the business.
  • Chase suppliers for outstanding documentation and ensure records are up to date.
  • Manage supplier information within the CSN supplier platform.
  • Support supplier quality and compliance activities, including supplier visits where required.
  • Ensure supplier compliance is maintained throughout the purchasing process.
  • Carry out general purchasing administration and document control.
  • Work with SAP to support purchasing activities.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement support role.
  • Strong experience liaising with suppliers and building effective working relationships.
  • Experience ensuring supplier compliance and supporting supplier quality activities.
  • Comfortable visiting suppliers when required.
  • Experience using SAP is highly desirable.
