Sytner BMW & MINI is looking for an ambitious, energetic, and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our business by identifying, developing, and securing new corporate customers. This is a proactive sales role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. If you're motivated by hunting for new business rather than waiting for enquiries, this is the opportunity for you.

As our Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be winning new business. You'll be responsible for expanding our customer base by engaging with local businesses, identifying fleet and company car opportunities, and promoting the premium BMW and MINI brands. Success in this role comes from your ability to network, prospect, build trust, and create opportunities where others don't.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Proactively identify and target new business opportunities across the UK.
  • Generate your own pipeline through networking, cold outreach, referrals, social selling, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Build relationships with business owners, directors, and key decision-makers.
  • Convert prospects into long-term BMW and MINI business customers.
  • Represent Sytner BMW & MINI within the local business community, attending networking events and building brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact through to vehicle delivery.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed new business, sales, and profitability targets.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and accurate CRM records.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking someone who thrives on creating opportunities and isn't afraid to make the first move. You'll ideally have:

  • A proven track record of winning new business in a B2B sales or business development role.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
  • Confidence engaging with senior business decision-makers.
  • A resilient, positive, and target-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Automotive experience is welcomed but not essential.

This is more than a sales role—it's an opportunity to make a real impact on the growth of our business. You'll have the freedom to develop your own customer base, the backing of two world-renowned brands, and the support of an experienced team committed to your success. If you're driven by finding new customers, building lasting business relationships, and delivering outstanding results, we'd love to hear from you.
