The successful candidate will join a highly regarded corporate commercial team led by an experienced and well-respected practitioner. The team handles a broad range of high-quality corporate and commercial matters and has earned strong rankings in independent legal directories.

Working closely with colleagues across employment, dispute resolution, property, and private client teams, the group provides a fully integrated service to its clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate and/or commercial solicitor to play a key role in developing and expanding the firm's corporate commercial offering. The position offers exposure to a varied caseload, including complex and high-value transactions, with no requirement to bring an existing client following. The role would suit a proactive and commercially aware individual who enjoys business development and is keen to contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate/commercial law
  • Confident acting as a primary client contact
  • Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate sales, restructures, and related transactions
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating shareholder, partnership, and director agreements
  • Commercially aware with an interest in current business trends
  • Interest in and aptitude for business development, including networking and client engagement
  • A collaborative team player seeking a long-term opportunity
