For experienced corporate tax professionals who still enjoy the technical side of tax but want their role to be genuinely advisory. I'm working on a fully remote opportunity for senior, CTA-qualified tax professionals to join an established specialist tax advisory business.

The work is focused on corporate tax advisory, supporting clients with complex and commercially important tax matters rather than managing a large recurring compliance portfolio. Depending on your background, this could include areas such as:

  • Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
  • M&A and transaction-related tax advice
  • Group and shareholder planning
  • Capital allowances and corporate reliefs
  • International and cross-border tax matters
  • Complex technical queries and tax planning
  • Advising business owners, finance teams and other professional advisers

These roles should particularly suit people who have built strong technical corporate tax experience in practice and want to continue developing as an adviser without necessarily following the traditional Partner route.

What I'm looking for: CTA qualified, with significant UK corporate tax experience and the confidence to take ownership of complex advisory work. You'll need to be technically strong, commercially minded and comfortable explaining complicated tax issues clearly to clients and other advisers. There are opportunities at different senior levels, so I'm particularly interested in speaking with experienced Manager, Senior Managers, Directors and senior corporate tax specialists.

Why it's worth a conversation:

  • Fully remote working
  • Genuine corporate tax advisory focus
  • Complex and varied technical work
  • Senior-level autonomy
  • No requirement to build your career around office attendance
  • Opportunity to remain close to the technical work rather than moving increasingly into management

If you're CTA qualified and have reached the point where you'd like more advisory work, more autonomy and considerably more flexibility, I'd be interested to hear from you.
