We are looking for a HGV Technician looking for the chance to further their career and become a vital member of the team.
You will have the opportunity to earn good money, work for a company investing in its team, site and business and also investing in you.
This role will give you the opportunity to obtain a HGV License and your IRTEC qualification should you want to.

JOB DESCRIPTION: HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic - commercial vehicle, LGV, HGV, fleet
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs, light vehicles and trailers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Attending roadside breakdowns when required
- Working closely with the parts department
- Completing job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
- Keeping your technical knowledge up to date through ongoing training
PERSON SPECIFICATION: HGV Technician, HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic - commercial vehicle, LGV, HGV, fleet
You'll ideally have: - NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
- Recent experience working within the motor trade in a similar role
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A full UK driving licence
- An HGV licence would be fantastic, but it's not essential.
If you're the right person and don't currently hold one, we'll support you in gaining your licence after six months.
