An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join the highly regarded Dispute Resolution team of a leading commercial law firm in Manchester.
Working alongside recognised experts in the field, you'll advise an impressive client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, PLCs, financial institutions and international businesses on a broad range of complex commercial disputes.
The team has an outstanding reputation in the North West market and continues to grow, offering excellent career progression and exposure to high-value, technically challenging work.
The Role
You'll work on a varied caseload including
- Contract disputes
- Shareholder, partnership and director disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Commercial fraud and insolvency-related disputes
- Injunctive relief
- High Court litigation
- Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
- Multi-party and cross-border disputes
You'll manage your own caseload whilst assisting on larger, more complex matters, working closely with experienced partners and enjoying regular client contact from day one.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have
- 2-6 years' PQE in Commercial Litigation
- Experience gained within a recognised regional or national law firm
- Strong technical ability and commercial awareness
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Confidence managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- A proactive approach to client relationships and business development
- The ambition to progress within a high-performing and collaborative team
