Responsibilities
As a Practice Accountant, you will be...
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Producing and submitting Self Assessment and Corporation Tax returns.
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Processing payroll and handling PAYE-related matters.
- Providing clients with day-to-day accounting, tax and business advice.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, responding to queries professionally and efficiently.
- Using cloud-based accounting software including Xero, Sage and Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required.
Requirements
As a Practice Accountant, you will need...

- Have recent experience working within an accountancy practice.
