Are you an experienced SMT Technician looking for your next opportunity? We're working with a well-established electronics manufacturer who is looking to add an experienced SMT Technician to their growing production team.

SMT Technician Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate and monitor SMT production equipment
  • Run and maintain SMT production lines to achieve daily production targets
  • Carry out changeovers, machine programming and product set-up
  • Inspect assemblies and identify quality issues
  • Complete routine maintenance and basic fault finding on SMT equipment
  • Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve any manufacturing issues
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and IPC quality standards

SMT Technician Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience running an SMT production line (ideally 2+ years)
  • Experience operating SMT placement machines and associated equipment
  • Confident carrying out machine set-ups, changeovers and basic troubleshooting
  • Able to read production documentation and follow work instructions
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
  • Experience within an electronics manufacturing environment is essential
  • Knowledge of IPC standards would be advantageous

SMT Technician Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30 (Flexible)
  • Friday, 07:30 - 12:00
