We're delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected local law firm for two Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Legal Executive positions within their friendly and supportive conveyancing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced residential conveyancing professional to join an approachable firm with an established client base, a strong reputation for excellent client service and opportunities for career development.
About the Role
You'll manage your own varied caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion, working with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and colleagues to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload while providing a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Managing re-mortgages and transfers of equity
- Dealing with new build transactions
- Handling shared ownership matters
- Providing general residential property advice
- Communicating directly with clients throughout the transaction
- Liaising with estate agents, mortgage lenders and other relevant parties
- Ensuring matters progress efficiently through to completion
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring strong attention to detail
- Providing a professional and high-quality level of client care
About You
We're looking for an experienced residential conveyancing professional who is confident managing their own caseload and can work effectively with minimal supervision.
You'll ideally have:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive, or equivalent relevant experience
- Previous experience working within residential conveyancing
- Experience managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion
- Good knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, professional and positive approach
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- The flexibility to work from either the Ringwood or Mudeford office at least 2 days per week
