This outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join one of Wiltshire's leading Legal 500 and Chambers-recognised family teams. This award-winning department is known for handling high-quality, complex work that often rivals London firms — all while maintaining the balance and lifestyle of a South West regional practice.

The team is thriving, with a full caseload ready to hand over focused on private divorce, financial and private children work. With strong internal referral networks and an established client base, this is very much a servicing role rather than one focused on business development. Any assistance you can provide with managing and mentoring the more junior lawyers in the team would be very welcome.

The Role

  • Take on a busy and varied caseload consisting predominantly of:
    • Divorce and financial remedy work
    • Advise on often high and ultra-high-net-worth cases involving clients with assets from £1m–£12m+
    • Clients often have multi-jurisdictional and offshore elements, matters involving trusts, property portfolios and business interests
    • Private children work, including international relocation and complex residence/contact matters
    • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements and TOLATA cases
    • Clients include HNW individuals, local business owners, farmers, property developers and established family estates

What experience is required

  • To be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
  • At least 4+ years PQE within family law
  • To be a true team player striving for excellence

What's on Offer?

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Hybrid working (typically 2–3 days WFH per week)
  • A collaborative team that meets monthly, with genuine flexibility around working patterns
  • Access to outstanding, high-value work in a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked department
