This is an exciting and varied role within our Production and Technical team, combining responsibilities across inventory control, production assembly, and pick and pack operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the manufacture, assembly, storage, and dispatch of our products, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency are maintained throughout the production process.
Key Tasks
- Inventory Control
- Use Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work Orders to complete production tasks and maintain accurate stock records within the inventory management system.
- Process and dispatch sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfilment.
- Update stock management systems to reflect inventory movements and production activities.
- Production Assembly
- Assemble electrical and pneumatic components and complete systems in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Build and test sub-assemblies for stock items and customer orders.
- Ensure all assemblies meet company quality and safety requirements.
- Pick and Pack
- Accurately pick sales orders using the Sage 200 management system.
- Package orders to a high standard, ensuring products are protected and ready for dispatch.
- Prepare shipments for collection and maintain an organised and efficient warehouse environment.
