This leading Further Education college is looking to expand its Estates and Security team due to continued recruitment. They are seeking professional Security Caretakers who are passionate about providing a safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
In this role, you will help maintain the safety and security of the college campus, working closely with students aged 16-18 while ensuring site procedures are followed at all times. You'll be part of a supportive team where professionalism, communication and excellent customer service are valued just as highly as your security experience.
This role would suit an experienced Security Officer or Door Supervisor looking for a long-term position where they can utilise their frontline security experience in a more rewarding environment while benefiting from excellent holidays, pension and career stability.
The Role
- Maintain the safety and security of the college campus
- Shift pattern between 6:00am - 2:00pm and 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Monday to Friday, 37-hour week
- Participate in a shared on-call rota (approximately two days every three weeks)
- Overtime opportunities available
The Person
- Frontline SIA Licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)
- Minimum two years' frontline security experience
- Experience within security, stewarding, events or similar customer-facing security roles
- Confident working with young people aged 16-18
- First Aid at Work qualification desirable (or willing to obtain)
- Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the college
