Hays Senior Finance are working exclusively with a global manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Divisional Head of Finance to be primarily based from their modern offices near Chester. This world renowned business has a physical presence in the majority of developed countries. Whilst you might not buy their products directly, they will be present in many of your household items and groceries.

As Divisional Head of Finance you will be responsible for managing multiple finance teams in both the UK and abroad. You will have four direct reports who will each have a number of reports under them. You will lead on financial controls, ensuring that current processes are fit for purpose, provide accurate insight into the business and that they meet statutory obligations. You will ensure the team meet all statutory reporting deadlines as well as internal Group deadlines - you will lead from the front ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This role will also have a lot of commercial input, and you will have regular contact with a number of factory managers and local MD's in different countries. You will provide regular commentary to Group FD to keep her abreast of the financial performance for each site as well as working with the local teams to produce accurate forecasting and budgeting.

This is a complex, challenging and busy role. We are looking for career minded individuals who can demonstrate they are already working at this level and have experience within global, manufacturing companies. You must be flexible to travel regularly overseas and have no visa restrictions to work in the UK.
