  • Previous compliance experience within an insurance broker or regulated insurance environment
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations, including ICOBS, Consumer Duty and SM&CR
  • Experience developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures and registers
  • Experience conducting compliance monitoring and reporting findings
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and communicate them clearly across the business
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of compliance responsibilities

  • Experience supporting FCA Direct Authorisation projects
  • Experience producing Consumer Duty Board reports
  • Exposure to working alongside external compliance consultants

  • Owning and developing the company's compliance framework
  • Maintaining policies, procedures, registers and governance documentation
  • Acting as the first point of contact for compliance-related queries across the business
  • Monitoring compliance activity and reporting findings to senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring the business remains aligned with FCA requirements and industry regulations
  • Supporting the company's transition towards FCA Direct Authorisation
  • Assisting with Consumer Duty implementation and ongoing compliance obligations
