We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our clients growing production team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in assembling electro-mechanical products, wiring, testing, and working from engineering drawings.
You will be instrumental in producing high-quality products that meet both customer and company standards.
Day-to-day of the role
- Assemble electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly using both hand and power tools.
- Conduct cable preparation, crimping, soldering, and wiring activities.
- Carry out functional testing and inspection of completed assemblies to ensure quality.
- Identify and report any assembly issues, defects, or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure delivery targets are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, Production Technician, Assembly Technician, or a similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experienced in wiring, crimping, cable assembly, and mechanical build.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with standard assembly tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong commitment to quality and workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Desirable: Soldering experience, IPC or related assembly certifications, and experience in sectors like electronics manufacturing, industrial equipment, medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
