The role

A highly regarded specialist law firm in Essex is looking for an NQ Solicitor to join its established claimant Clinical Negligence team. You will work alongside senior lawyers on a varied caseload involving serious and complex medical negligence claims. You will receive structured support while gradually taking greater responsibility for your own matters and client relationships. The position will involve reviewing medical records, liaising with medical experts, preparing witness evidence, assisting with case strategy and supporting claims through negotiation and litigation.

About you

  • You will ideally be a newly qualified Solicitor or due to qualify shortly
  • Have gained clinical negligence/litigation experience during your training contract or in a previous paralegal role
  • Be genuinely committed to developing a career in claimant clinical negligence
  • Have strong written, analytical and client-care skills
  • Be comfortable handling sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism
  • Live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Essex office
