Pro Finance is working with a growing and respected accountancy practice seeking an Audit Senior to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional, or someone nearing qualification, looking to take ownership of audits, work with a varied client portfolio, and progress their career within a firm that invests heavily in training and development.
The Role
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Manage audit budgets and deadlines
- Review audit files prior to manager review
- Build strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business
You'll also have exposure to group audits, consolidated accounts, and a range of advisory-focused projects.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification
- Previous audit experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience leading audit assignments
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and ISAs
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Proactive and commercially minded approach
