  • About Our Client

Our client installs discreet, high-end air conditioning into people's homes, often period and heritage properties where a conventional external condenser was never an option.

Their systems are fully internal and water-cooled, and several are patented (Incognito and Discreet).

The work is technically distinctive, and every job is in a customer's home carrying their name.

They have deliberately moved away from per-unit subcontract installation.

That model rewards speed over doing the job right, and it's the wrong fit for what they build and who they build it for.

This is a permanent PAYE role built around the opposite – quality, ownership, and standards they are proud to put reviews against.

The Role

You'll install their internal water-cooled and patented systems into occupied residential properties, commission them fully and correctly, and own the quality of your own work from first fix to sign-off.

You'll represent their company in the customer's home and as you establish yourself, you'll help bring on an apprentice of your own.

What you'll do

  • Install their internal water-cooled and patented systems (Incognito / Discreet) to specification, in occupied heritage and residential properties.
  • Commission every system fully and correctly, with checklist sign-off and evidence, no shortcuts.
  • Represent Urban Cooling in the customer's home – clean, courteous, tidy, on time, respectful of the property.
  • Own the quality of your own installations, including putting right any snags on your own work.
  • Secure customer reviews and feedback at handover.
  • Mentor and develop a supplied apprentice toward independent working.
  • Keep accurate, timely job records.

What they need from you

  • Proven air conditioning / refrigeration installation experience.
  • F-Gas certification.
  • A genuinely customer-facing manner, non-negotiable; you're working in people's homes.
  • High standards on finish, cleanliness and commissioning quality.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working with internal water-cooled systems, or able to learn fast and full product training provided.
  • How Our Client Works

Our client backs their Engineers with training, good kit and a proper package, and in return they expect the work to be right first time.

Because you own your own installations, doing the job well means you're rarely called back to it.

Get it right, and both the quality bonus and your own time are yours to keep.

If you want to join a Well-Established Business, and be a catalyst for their future growth, then this is the job for you!

Come join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering exceptional air conditioning installations.

Their selection process is unique in the marketplace and attracts motivated, productive team members, who they know will be successful and have a great career with them.

They look forward to hearing from you. Don't miss this opportunity.
