ABOUT THE CLIENT
We're recruiting on behalf of an established organisation delivering environmental and infrastructure services across the UK. Operating from Brize Norton and travelling across the South of the UK, you'll work alongside other engineers to deliver specialist services across customer sites. Previous drainage experience isn't required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with the right HGV, practical and team-working background to develop specialist skills.

THE HGV FORECOURT SERVICES ENGINEER ROLE
- Operate within a one or two-person team
- Deliver site tankering works
- Carry out jetting and drain cleaning
- Complete interceptor cleaning and servicing
- Respond to reactive works
- Support call-outs for critical issues
- Complete near-miss and potential incident reporting
- Liaise professionally with customers
- Maintain vehicles, tools, PPE and equipment
- Complete and submit works documentation
- Identify and recommend potential improvements
The position includes a high level of manual work, so you'll need to be comfortable combining driving with practical duties.
HGV FORECOURT SERVICES ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Appropriate HGV driving experience/licence
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach
- Comfortable undertaking manual work
- Strong team-working skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers
- Willingness to work away 3-4 nights per week
- Comfortable working within established health and safety procedures
