I'm delighted to be working with a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Cardiff who are looking to welcome a Trainee Accountant to their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year's experience within a UK accountancy practice who is keen to continue developing their skills while studying towards ACCA.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team that genuinely invests in its people, offering excellent training, career progression and full ACCA study support.

The Role

  • Preparing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Supporting senior members of the team with client work
  • Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
  • Using cloud accounting software including Xero and Quick Books
  • Continuing your professional development with full ACCA study support

About You

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA (or looking to begin ACCA)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to build a long-term career within practice
  • Experience using cloud accounting software is advantageous
