Description

Are you a qualified Accountant who has lead the financials on large scale projects? If so, this one could be for you.

My client is looking for a Senior Finance lead for a one off major PFI funded Capital investment Infrastructure project.

The project will be in excess of £600m spend and has complex finance arrangements.

  • The Finance Project lead will;
  • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Manage project budgets, providing regular updates and forecasts.
  • Manage complex finance arrangements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of financial controls and processes.
  • Provide advice on financial matters related to projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of financial audits and reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior management.

As this is a task and finish project, it could be treated as a statement of works, therefore could be deemed outside if IR35. Inside IR35 is also available.

Profile

A successful Interim Senior Project Accountant should have

  • Fully qualified Accountant
  • Large scale Financial project experience
  • Ideally PFI finance experience
  • knowledge or use of 5 case models
  • Experience in financial reporting and project accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
