The Financial Controller is a key role in the senior leadership for this organisation.
The Role
- Finance Leadership: Direct the UK finance function, reporting straight to the Finance Director and Board.
- Strategic Partnering: Guide senior directors on commercial decisions, investment appraisals, and business cases.
- Team Development: Mentor, lead, and upskill Finance Team Leaders to foster a high-performance culture.
- Financial Control: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and long-term planning.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure total compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, SOX reporting, and statutory audits.
- Process Evolution: Drive continuous improvements in financial policies, systems, and cost-reduction strategies.
- What We Need
- Qualifications: Fully CIMA, ACA OR ACCA qualified
- Experience: Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong reporting background, audit management
- Systems: Advanced MS Excel skills (Macros, Pivots, VLOOKUPs). SAP or Oracle experience is a plus.
