A well-established, Legal 500 recognised law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its growing team in either Cardiff or Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor through to around 3 years' PQE to develop their career within a highly regarded corporate practice, working alongside experienced specialists on a broad range of quality matters for regional businesses, owner-managed companies and high-growth organisations.
The team has an excellent reputation for advising SMEs, entrepreneurs and established businesses across South Wales, acting on a wide variety of corporate transactions and commercial matters. It is particularly recognised for its expertise within the healthcare, energy and manufacturing sectors and advises an impressive portfolio of clients ranging from innovative technology businesses through to international organisations.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload, with appropriate supervision, while supporting senior lawyers on more complex transactions. Matters will include:
- Mergers, acquisitions and disposals
- Corporate restructures
- Shareholder and partnership agreements
- Commercial contracts
- Debt and equity funding
- General corporate advisory work
Alongside fee-earning responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to develop client relationships, become involved in networking and business development activities, and play an active role in the continued growth of the team.
About You
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with up to 3 years' PQE who can demonstrate experience in corporate and commercial law gained through a training contract or post-qualified role. You will also possess:
