We are partnering with the firm to recruit a Senior Accountant who has sound experience working with cloud accounting systems.
- Managing your own selection of clients your role will involve but not limited to β
- Prepare management accounts and bespoke client reporting.
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts and supporting working papers
- Prepare and review VAT returns, liaising with HMRC where required.
- Process and review bookkeeping using cloud-based accounting software,
- Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns.
You'll be a senior member of the team so will be looked upon to mentor and support the less experienced accountants.
As a primary client contact, you will develop and maintain a solid relationship to be the "go to" person and be commercially aware to see new opportunities for the firm.
The Senior Accountant post is crucial to the business and so we seek a specific profile. You will β
- Be ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT qualified β or qualified by experience β in practice or from industry (butmust have worked for an accountancy firm to UK regulations.)
- You must - this is imperative β be proficient with systems such as Xero, Iris, Dext
- Have experience preparing management accounts, VAT returns, year-end accounts, and corporation tax returns. An introduction to personal tax would be a benefit but not essential
- Have the strong organisational, communication and people skills gained in practice.
