We're working with a fantastic, established insurance broker who are looking to welcome a Trainee Insurance Advisor into their Caernarfon team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is early in their career, looking for a change, or simply wants to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.
You don't need previous insurance experience, what matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to build great relationships with people.
The Role
Working from a lovely office in Caernarfon, you'll join a supportive and experienced team and receive full training as you develop your knowledge of commercial insurance.
You'll gradually build your responsibilities and can expect to
- Speak with clients and understand their insurance requirements.
- Provide friendly, professional advice and support.
- Assist with quotations, renewals and policy administration.
- Build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Learn how different commercial insurance products work.
- Handle enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Work closely with experienced colleagues while developing your own knowledge and confidence.
- Progress towards taking responsibility for your own clients and accounts.
What We're Looking For

- Fluent in Welsh and English — Welsh speaking is essential.
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking to people.
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems.
- Keen to learn and develop professionally.
- Reliable, hardworking and keen to build a long-term career.
- Previous customer service, administration, retail or office experience would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
For the right person, this role can open the door to progression into areas such as Insurance Advisor, Account Handler, Account Executive and eventually senior client-facing positions.
