Duties
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on all makes and models, adhering to manufacturer standards
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings effectively to the Service Manager
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards as specified by our client and vehicle manufacturers
- Complete all repairs, inspections, and servicing within set timescales
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
- Complete relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
Vehicle Technician Requirements
- Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- At least 1-2 years' practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Own set of tools
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to produce high-quality workmanship under pressure
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude
- Candidates with prior experience in a franchise-approved dealership are preferred but not essential
- An active MOT Smart Card is highly advantageous but not essential
