They are seeking a talented Real Estate Lawyer to handle a diverse range of property work with a focus on the energy sector.
Day-to-day of the role
- Work on land options for wind, solar, battery storage, or hydrogen developments, as well as office relocations and the development of operation and maintenance facilities.
- Handle a wide array of property work including development projects, acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant issues, asset management, and portfolio management instructions for national and international energy clients.
- Engage in project development work for new generation projects in both renewable energy transactions and mainstream power and pipeline projects.
- Collaborate with the wider Real Estate team across the country, ensuring plenty of client contact and the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Legal qualification with a minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience.
- Experience gained from working in a Real Estate legal team, ideally from a large regional or city firm.
- Experience in development transactions and projects, either specifically in the energy sector or more broadly.
- Excellent drafting skills and a sense of commercial pragmatism.
- A strong team ethos and enthusiasm for further developing the team's client base through business development activities such as organizing client events, writing articles, and other marketing efforts.
