An established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team in Bristol.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload while supporting the wider team and maintaining high standards of client service.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a residential property caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, including:

  • Handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Managing transactions efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Providing clear and practical legal advice throughout the conveyancing process
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other relevant parties
  • Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based records
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
  • Acting as a positive ambassador for the firm

Requirements

  • Solicitor, FCILEx qualified or CLC registered
  • Strong experience in residential conveyancing
  • Detailed understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction to completion
  • Experience supervising, supporting or mentoring colleagues would be advantageous
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy and collaborative environment
  • Competent using IT systems and case management software
