We specialise in wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications, and inheritance tax.

We are looking to recruit a full-time Legal Assistant.

This is a truly unique opportunity to join us in building an exceptional law firm that serves clients with authentic personal service supported by the latest technology.

Job Specification
The role will involve

  • Providing client relationship support (in person and by Teams, phone and email)
  • Providing case management support from onboarding to file archiving
  • Drafting documents (such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and probate applications)
  • Attending client meetings
  • Conducting legal research
  • Providing administrative support (such as typing from dictation / scanning / photocopying / filing / posting)
  • Assisting with billing
  • Analysing and improving case processes
  • Attending networking events when required
  • Assisting with social media posts

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have

  • A high 2:1 or 1st class degree in law; or a high 2:1 or 1st class degree in another subject with a high merit or distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law
  • The ability to demonstrate that they share our values – excellence, integrity and empathy
  • Fluency with Microsoft applications (Word / Excel / Outlook / Teams); the ability to learn how to use software applications quickly
  • A valid driving licence and use of your own car are essential

Location
The successful candidate will normally be based in our office on Berkeley Square, Bristol.
