A leading FTSE 250 organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team based in Bristol.

This is a commercially focused finance role where you will partner with senior operational leaders across a significant business region, providing insight, challenge and strategic support to drive financial performance.

Acting as the finance representative on the Regional Leadership Team, you will play a key role in influencing decision making, identifying opportunities for growth, and helping deliver ambitious financial targets.

The role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a large, complex and fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Regional Leadership Team, providing commercial insight, financial challenge and strategic support.
  • Support Regional General Managers and operational leaders in delivering financial targets and operational performance.
  • Analyse monthly profit and loss performance, explaining variances and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Consolidate cash flow forecasts and provide meaningful commentary on regional performance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing business decisions through robust financial analysis.
  • Work closely with Group Reporting and Management Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and wider business performance to provide commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Translate regional performance into meaningful insights for wider business leadership.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role within a commercial environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level.
  • Experience operating within a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability across operational teams.
  • Experience using Oracle EPM is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel within the region approximately one day per week, including occasional overnight stays.
