Join a well-established law firm with over 30 years of experience and a national reputation in the Property sector.

We are seeking a Residential Property conveyancer to handle a mixed residential caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, maintaining the highest standard of client care.

Day-to-Day of the Role

  • Effectively manage a manageable and varied caseload in residential conveyancing.
  • Maintain and build upon existing client relationships.
  • Supervise the team in the absence of the Legal Director.
  • Work to strict deadlines in a pressurised but friendly environment.
  • Liaise with support staff (i. e., Legal Secretaries, Paralegals, and Trainee Paralegals) in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records for clients.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for Davies and Partners Solicitors.
  • Undertake appropriate and relevant staff development regularly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Solicitor or FCILEx qualified, CLC registered.
  • 6 years+ PQE (Desirable).
  • Possess a detailed understanding of Property Law.
  • Ability to maintain and build upon existing client relationships.
  • Capable of taking on a supervisory role in the absence of the Legal Director, and able to mentor/assist others in the team.
  • Self-organised and proactive.
  • Ability to take responsibility and solve problems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Adaptable to the needs of the business as changes occur during the operational requirements.
  • Competent in the effective use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
