Our client, a well-established and busy commercial law firm with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor to join their team.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside leading professionals and benefit from support and career development opportunities.

Day-to-Day of the Role

  • Engage in a mixed caseload of commercial matters for a wide variety of clients under the guidance of more experienced members of the department.
  • Handle joint venture projects, data protection, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements including brand protection, intellectual property licences, agency and distribution agreements.
  • Assist with corporate transactions.
  • Undertake due diligence.
  • Participate in business development and marketing activities.
  • Manage IT & E-commerce contracts, agency, manufacturing and supply agreements, collaboration and joint venture agreements, software licenses and software development, and franchise agreements.
  • Perform any other "ad hoc" duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualified Commercial Solicitor registered with the SRA.
  • 4 years+ PQE in non-contentious commercial work.
  • Some corporate transactional experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good organisational, time management and IT skills.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and with a willing attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with excellent client care skills.
