A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Business Services Senior to take ownership of accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio. The client base is broad and well established, giving exposure to a range of business types and sizes, and the team is experienced, collaborative and invested in developing its people.

What's the day to day of the role:

  • Preparing and reviewing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Assisting managers and partners on more complex assignments and technical matters
  • Acting as a reliable point of contact for clients and handling queries confidently
  • Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns as required
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team

Required skills and qualifications:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a solid accounts preparation background
  • At least three years' experience within a UK Practice environment
  • Proven experience preparing accounts for a range of client types to a high standard
  • Good working knowledge of accountancy software
  • Professional client facing manner, well organised, with the ambition to progress in practice
