Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their expanding team.
In this position, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation and providing valuable financial insights.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
- Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
- Developing strong relationships with both new and existing clients, while managing client payroll on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Setting and managing client expectations by arranging closing meetings to finalise accounts.
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
- Applying your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and Quick Books to streamline processes and improve client experiences.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Skilled in Sage, Xero, and Quick Books.
- Consistently meets deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
