We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in Brighton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles to the highest standards while delivering excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately in line with manufacturer specifications.
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional work required.
- Conduct vehicle health checks and prepare reports.
- Ensure all work is completed to health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a productive workshop environment.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Automotive Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Desirable Requirements
- MOT Tester licence.
- Experience with manufacturer diagnostic systems.
- Hybrid and electric vehicle qualifications.
- Main dealership experience.
