A leading and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Brighton is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, providing both compliance and advisory support while playing a key role in developing junior members of the team. What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors
  • Delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a high standard
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and returns prepared by junior staff
  • Supporting business development activity and building client relationships
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of junior members of the tax team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical corporate tax knowledge, including compliance and advisory work
  • Proven experience managing client relationships and a busy portfolio
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support and develop junior staff
