Reporting directly to the Head of Finance – Accounting & Control, you'll become a key member of an ambitious finance team, gaining exposure across both operational and strategic finance activities within a business that offers excellent long-term progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:
This is a varied and hands-on position where you'll play an important role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and delivery of key financial information across the business.
- Producing weekly and periodic management accounts in line with reporting deadlines
- Completing detailed sales, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
- Delivering insightful variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior year
- Producing KPI reporting packs and meaningful financial commentary
- Supporting VAT and CIS returns
- Assisting with year-end statutory and consolidated accounts preparation
- Preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, controls and internal procedures
- Supporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

You:
We are looking for an ambitious and driven qualified accountant who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You will ideally have
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification
- Previous Strong technical accounting experience within industry and/or practice
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships across the business
- The ability to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team
