SJC Partners is recruiting on behalf of an established Bradford law firm seeking an experienced Senior Conveyancer to join its residential property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident conveyancing professional who can independently manage a varied caseload while delivering a responsive, high-quality service to clients.
You will manage residential property matters from instruction through to completion, maintaining regular communication with clients and ensuring transactions progress efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Dealing with remortgages and transfers of equity
- Reviewing contracts, searches, mortgage offers and title documentation
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Preparing matters for exchange and completion
- Managing post-completion requirements
- Maintaining accurate and compliant files
- Providing clear, timely updates to clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Identifying and resolving potential issues at an early stage
- Supporting and sharing knowledge with junior colleagues where required
- Contributing to the continued development of the conveyancing department
About you
- Substantial experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of property transactions
