Do you want to work as a Junior Electrical Estimator for a company experiencing continued expansion, where you will play a key role in supporting project delivery while developing your technical knowledge and commercial awareness through full training and mentorship?
On offer for the successful Junior Electrical Estimator is the opportunity to be fully trained and develop your skills through structured support, gaining hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of projects from initial enquiry through to project completion. You will work closely with experienced estimators, engineers and project teams, building your confidence while contributing to a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects from an early stage.
In this role, the successful Junior Electrical Estimator will support a wide variety of tasks while developing into a fully-fledged Estimator. You will assist with reviewing client enquiries and preparing technical quotations, ensuring they accurately reflect project requirements. In addition, you will liaise with internal departments, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and coordination throughout the estimating process. On top of this, you will support quality procedures and Health & Safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement within the estimating function.
The ideal Junior Electrical Estimator will be a qualified Electrician looking to move into an office-based role, with a keen interest in developing a career in estimating or project delivery. Ideally, but not essentially, you will have experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations and be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, alongside being computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
