My client is an independent school in based just outside Bracknell and they are now looking to recruit a Part Time Finance Manager to support the strategic and operational financial management of the school.
Working closely with the Bursar and reporting directly to the Headteacher, the role centres on managing the income and expenditure of the school, providing insightful reporting and analysis for the SLT.
Key to success in this post will be setting and controlling budgets, forecasting and management accounts.
Applications are sought from experienced finance candidates, either formally qualified or actively studying a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA , AAT or equivalent) with previous experience of operating at a similar level, within schools or other educational sector experience.
Certainly, evidence of managing and controlling budgets, good IT and reporting experience will be required.
My client is flexible on days and open to someone doing either 4 full days or 5 shorter days., ideally around 30 hours.
