We are seeking a Parts Advisor to join our established team at our Sutterton branch.
This role involves assisting with day-to-day queries regarding machinery parts from customers and technicians, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times.
Day-to-day of the role
- Assist with customer orders and enquiries relating to the products and services supplied by the Company, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Dispatch parts efficiently to meet customer requirements.
- Handle cash and card payments with accuracy.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at the front counter.
- Manage stock, including organizing scrappage and maintaining accurate records.
- Work under pressure during busy periods and contribute to team efforts to achieve sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing diplomatically with customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
- Good knowledge of agricultural, horticultural, or motor industry parts is advantageous.
- Experience working in a retail environment and showroom experience is desirable.
- General computer skills and familiarity with email and internet use.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- A team player who is also capable of working independently using own initiative.
- Motivated by sales and targets.
