This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) looking to join a commercially focused finance team in a role offering genuine variety, exposure and career development.
Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, providing meaningful commercial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Produce detailed variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processes.
- Analyse large volumes of financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models to support commercial decision-making.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand key performance drivers.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls are maintained.
- Support a range of ad hoc analysis, reporting and finance projects.
Person Specification
- Qualified or actively studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets.
- Commercially minded with experience supporting operational stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Power BI to develop reports and dashboards.
- Knowledge of SQL and working with structured data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables and financial modelling.
