I'm currently working with a highly regarded professional services firm that's looking to strengthen its Transaction Tax team with the appointment of an M&A Tax Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team, working on a broad range of UK and international transactions across a variety of sectors.

You'll support clients throughout the deal lifecycle, providing commercially focused tax advice on acquisitions, disposals and restructures.

The Role

As an M&A Tax Manager, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, advisers and clients on a range of transaction-related projects.

Responsibilities will include

  • Delivering tax due diligence on acquisitions and disposals.
  • Advising on transaction structures and tax implications.
  • Managing client relationships and supporting projects from start to finish.
  • Working alongside colleagues across Tax, Corporate Finance and Advisory.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports and client deliverables.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities.
  • Coaching and developing junior members of the team.

About You

You'll be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in UK corporate tax or transaction tax.

You'll also have

  • Strong technical tax knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and commercial approach to client work.
