Our client is looking to appoint a technically strong and commercially minded lawyer to join an established regulatory team, reporting directly to the Head of Department. The Role
You will work closely with the Head of Department and wider team, advising a varied client base on a broad range of health & safety and regulatory matters. The successful candidate will be expected to hit the ground running, taking ownership of matters from day one and providing high-quality, pragmatic advice to clients. Your work will include:
- Advising businesses and individuals on health & safety regulatory issues
- Handling investigations and enforcement action by relevant regulatory bodies
- Advising clients following serious workplace incidents and accidents
- Managing prosecutions and contentious regulatory matters
- Representing clients through the regulatory investigation and enforcement process
- Providing strategic and practical advice on regulatory compliance
- Supporting clients with risk management and preventative advice
