We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator / TIG Welder to join a busy and growing engineering manufacturer specialising in bespoke fabrications, heat-resistant components, and high-quality engineering solutions for a range of industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator and TIG welder looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and assembling bespoke metal components from engineering drawings.
- Performing high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other specialist materials.
- Working with sheet metal, plate, tube, and structural sections.
- Ensuring all welds and fabrications meet strict quality standards.
- Grinding, finishing, and preparing fabricated parts for inspection and dispatch.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Working both independently and as part of a skilled engineering team to meet production deadlines.
