In this role you will pay a key part in the installation and assembly of high-voltage equipment within DNO environments, including switchgear, transformers, structural steelwork, and control panels. The role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical fitting, cable installation and terminations, earthing and bonding, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.
This role would suit an Electrical Fitter or similar looking for a varied role within a well-established substation company who offer personal development, training and progression within a growing, expanding business.
The Role:
- Installation of high voltage electrical systems, equipment and components including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables and related equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other team members to execute projects, troubleshoot issues and ensure the efficient operation of high voltage electrical systems.
The Person:
- Background as a HV fitter or similar.
- Experience in DNO, solar or similar.
- UK driving license.
