Are you a Design Engineer from a Building Services or Solar background, looking for a project-based role within a highly regarded specialist consultancy offering varied and technically challenging projects, alongside clear progression into Technical Lead or Team Leader positions?

In this role you will assist in the designing of engineering solutions across multiple sectors, working predominantly in schools, with projects including Solar PV installation, HVAC, and wider Building Services. Alongside the design-focused responsibilities, you will support the Project Manager as you visit sites, assess client requirements, and oversee projects from concept to completion.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a Building Services or Solar background, looking to develop their career as a Project Design Engineer within a growing company offering specialist training and clear routes of progression.

The Role:

  • Use AutoCAD to design building services/ civil engineering solutions
  • Support projects from concept to completion including Solar PV Installation and HVAC
  • Occasional site visits to assess client needs and problem solve
  • 5 hours a week, Monday - Friday; 8:30 - 5pm, scope for hybrid working after probation
