Our client is currently recruiting for a Data Protection Assistant, working two days per week in their glossy offices based in Birmingham city centre! This role is to join a leading tech provider recognised for their collaborative culture, innovation, and commitment to professional growth, joining their Information Security Team, providing operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting effective governance processes and helping keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
- Helping safeguard sensitive information and support strong data protection practices across the organisation.
- Working with suppliers to ensure standards, risks and compliance requirements are being effectively managed.
- Contributing to initiatives that help protect the organisation from cyber threats and strengthen our security posture.
- Turning data and insights into clear, meaningful reports that support informed decision-making.
- Supporting audits, compliance checks and assurance activities to help maintain high standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Taking on a range of other relevant tasks and projects, gaining valuable experience across governance, risk, compliance and security.
What we are looking for:
